【学术报告】Antichiral edge states and hinge states based on the Haldane model

Differentfrom the chiral edge states, antichiral edge states propagating in the samedirection on the opposite edges are theoretically proposed based on themodified Haldane model, which is recently experimentally realized in photoniccrystal and electric lattice systems. In this talk, I will present that theantichiral edge states in the two-dimensional system can also be achieved basedon the original Haldane model by combining two subsystems with the oppositechirality. Most importantly, by stacking these two-dimensional systems intothree-dimension, it is found that the copropagating antichiral hinge stateslocalized on the two opposite diagonal hinge cases of the system can beimplemented. Interestingly, the location of antichiral hinge states can betuned via hopping parameters along the third dimension.


主讲人介绍:

张磊教授现为山西大学量子光学与光量子器件国家重点实验室教授,博士生导师。2012年博士毕业于香港大学物理系王健教授研究组,2013-2016年加拿大麦吉尔大学郭鸿院士研究组博士后。目前已在Nature, Phys. Rev. Lett., Phys. Rev. B, JACS, Nano Lett.等国际知名杂志上共发表SCI论文60余篇, 论文被引用次数1100余次,H-Index20。2017年获得山西省“百人计划” 特聘专家称号,2018年获得“三晋英才”支持计划青年优秀人才称号、山西省委联系服务高级专家。
